The Government of Canada has announced 3 recovery programs to support Canadians impacted by COVID-19: Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB) and Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB). 

  • The CRB program provides support for workers who are self-employed or aren’t eligible for Employment Insurance (EI) and still require income support
  • The CRSB program is for workers who can’t work because they are sick or must self-isolate for reasons related to COVID-19
  • The CRCB program is for eligible workers who can’t work because they must provide care to children or family members due to the closure of schools, day cares or care facilities

If you aren’t registered for direct deposit through the CRA, you can now sign up through online or mobile banking:

To access online government services, you can easily sign on your with your online banking card number and password. Sign on using “Sign-In Partner Login” or “Continue to Sign-In Partner.” After selecting this option, choose the Simplii Financial logo from the available list. Since the arrival of COVID-19, there's been an unfortunate rise in scams playing on fears about the pandemic. Stay alert for any emails, calls and texts that ask you to share any personal information or make an immediate payment.

Remember: don't share your personal information, including your SIN (Social Insurance Number) or banking information, like card number, expiry date, PINs or passwords, with anyone.
