What you need to apply

The New to Canada Banking Program is available for permanent and non-permanent residents. You must be 15 years or older, have a valid passport and have a self-photo (selfie) ready.

How to take your selfie

Your selfie must have your full face in the frame in one of the following poses:

Your right or left hand next to your shoulder
Your right or left hand behind your head
Your right or left hand on your chest

Upload one of these government entry permits today, or submit them later, to complete your application:

Immigration work permit (IMM 1442)
Permanent resident immigration form (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688)
Record of Landing form (IMM 1000)
Port of Entry (POE) government letter
