You can view your Investor’s Edge account details and sign in to Investor’s Edge for trading and full account management – all from your Simplii accounts page!

To get started – and to take advantage of the exclusive offer – just open an Investor’s Edge account through Simplii Online or Mobile Banking.

No – you don’t need a CIBC or Simplii bank account to trade with Investor’s Edge. You can also open an Investor’s Edge account directly through the CIBC Investor’s Edge website or the CIBC Mobile Wealth App. However, you won’t be able to access your Investor’s Edge account from your Simplii accounts page, and the CIBC Investor's Edge exclusive offer for Simplii clients won’t apply.

Yes. If you have a Simplii bank account, it will automatically be linked to your new Investor’s Edge account during the online application and set-up process.

Don’t have a Simplii bank account? You can link an eligible account from any Canadian bank once your investment account is set up.

It’s an important question, as you’ll need a place to keep your investments.

Here are the accounts you can open, if you’re eligible:

• RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan)

If you opened your Investor’s Edge account through Simplii, you’ll always access it from Simplii Online or Mobile Banking.

Just sign in to Simplii. On your main accounts page, alongside all your Simplii accounts, you’ll see your up-to-date Investor’s Edge details, including your investment account totals.

To start trading or to manage your Investor’s Edge account, click or tap “CIBC Investor’s Edge Accounts” and you’ll be taken to the CIBC Investor’s Edge platform.

No. If you opened your Investor’s Edge account through Simplii, you’ll always access it from Simplii Online or Mobile Banking. You won’t be able to sign in directly through CIBC Investor’s Edge or the CIBC Mobile Wealth App to trade or manage these accounts.
